The Gentle Steep is a small-batch herbal tea business rooted in nature, wellness, ritual, and the simple magic of slowing down.

Created by Sandra Pachol in Winnipeg, each blend is thoughtfully handcrafted using herbs, flowers, fruits, spices, and botanicals chosen for their flavour, beauty, traditional uses, and the experience they bring to the cup. Some blends are created simply for the joy of a beautiful cup of tea, while others are inspired by everyday wellness rituals: rest, digestion, balance, comfort, grounding, and taking a much-needed moment for yourself.

Inspired by gardens, changing seasons, old kitchen traditions, herbal wisdom, and Sandra’s own connection to natural witchcraft, The Gentle Steep is about bringing intention back into ordinary moments.

For Sandra, being a witch has less to do with spells and more to do with paying attention to the plants growing outside the door, the turn of the seasons, the ways herbs have traditionally been used and shared, and the quiet ritual of holding a warm mug between two hands.

Every tea is handcrafted in small batches and given its own personality, from cozy and grounding to bright, floral, fruity, or gently restorative. Many are accompanied by simple ritual or reflection prompts, inviting you to do more than just drink tea: to pause, breathe, reconnect, and create a small moment of wellness in your day.
