A message to our community

Many of you have reached out regarding our choice to celebrate Harry Potter’s birthday on July 31st.

We have greatly valued the conversations we’ve had with many of you directly, and would like to make our stance on the matter clear. JK Rowling’s opinions about the transgender community are disgusting and harmful, and we do not support them.

We have enjoyed the stories and characters she has created since the first book was released. Our children grew up reading them and watching the movies. We as a family are all still waiting for our Hogwarts letters.

It has been incredibly shameful and heartbreaking to witness the primary artist behind the HP universe perpetuate lies about our neighbors. Her views cast a dark cloud over the many kind people who had a hand in creating HP universe, including the authors that inspired JK Rowling, and we still choose to value their contributions.

As such, we have chosen to separate the art from the artist and still enjoy the magical fantasy world that the collective group of storytellers and filmmakers have created.

To share our love and care for the community the author has harmed, we will be donating a percentage of our proceeds from July 31st to support the great folks and programs at the Rainbow Resource Center.

We raise our wands in this way as an effort to change the harm caused by the author into a kind celebration of the magical world that we enjoy. We welcome everyone to join us on Harry’s birthday to continue celebrating the art, not the artist.

Normal order processing can take between 1-2 days.

Frizelda still works in her real job from 9-5 during weekdays, so she’s not in her hut for order processing until the witching hours.

Shipping

Frizelda only ships to customers in Canada.

Online orders will be shipped from a small post office located near her hut via our good friends at Canada Post Standard Ground service, or by Owl, whichever is most convenient once your order is ready.  Please note that orders could arrive to you in multiple packages.

Shipping rates are constantly increasing with gas prices, and fees will apply to all online orders. If you want free shipping, go buy something on Amazon.

Shipping rates are subject to change without notice as Canada Post rates do.

Note:  if you live near Frizelda’s hut, she may strap it to her broom and fly the delivery herself, depending on the wind direction that night.

Frizelda’s Return Policy for bitchy customers

Frizelda has no return policy for online orders. If you don’t like what you’ve ordered from our website, too bad.

Note: Frizelda’s cards are hand-crafted, unique and therefore each one will have different colors, ink type, and mixed media elements. She is sure you will love each one, but if for whatever reason you are not happy with your purchase, oh well. 

Frizelda’s Return Policy for nice customers

Same policy as above for online orders, but spoken in a nicer tone. You can also send Frizelda an email HERE and try showing off your inner witch to complain.  She’d love that. She may even give you a score between 1-10 on how Witchy it is.

If you purchased your item from our new brick and mortar shoppe on Provencher, we will of course do everything we can to ensure that you were happy with your purchase, and thrilled that you stopped by. But Friz might still give you a 1-10 score.

Frizelda’s Privacy Policy

So let’s be real, Frizelda has copied the jargon below and hopes that it makes sense to you. However, here is Friz’s version of the legal mumbo jumbo:

Because Frizelda is operating a shoppe, website and on-line store, your personal info is collected and used to pay for and/or ship you the goods you order.
