Deonys is an experimental concept of pirate royalty combined with vampire witch. His calling is of digital alchemy, working with computer software, websites and traditional methods to create multi-media art. He focuses on mixing Filipino folklore and mythology with medieval imagery. He also loves to create poignant political commentary and symbolism in his work. Currently, he’s relearning how to express himself as a speaker, organizer and alchemist that weaves storytelling with spirituality to create meaning out of the mess, transforming old perceptions into new perspectives.
