Moss and Thimble

Moss & Thimble is the creative home of Winnipeg fibre artist and author Taylore O’Neail.

She creates under the name Moss & Thimble, where she hand felts wool creations inspired by forests and fungi, folklore, and the magic that flows through the natural world. Each piece is made slowly and by hand, allowing its own little personality to emerge. Rather than striving for perfection, she embraces the warmth and character that makes handmade art feel alive. Her hope is that each creation feels like something that could be discovered in an old witch’s cottage, a fairy glen, or beneath an ancient tree.

Her children’s book, Kora’s Song, shares that same spirit. Through gentle poetry and nature-inspired storytelling, it encourages readers to follow the song of their heart and remember that their own voice has power.
